Great Plant Deals

We are working on landscaping on the front side of our house this year. My husband has been awesome and got limestone rocks placed to border both beds. We went to Manard's recently and we got some great deals- look at all of these plants we got- and for just $100!!

Here's the rundown-

3 rose bushes (red, pink, peach)

3 butterfly bushes

3 rose of Sharon (hibiscus)

8 lillies

2 yuccas

We still have a long way to go before it is as filled in as we want but this was a really good start!

Gameday Dress!!

After I made the Rockstar Dress (tutorial posted here), my sister asked if I thought I could make a dress for Marley out of an extra football jersey for my nephew's team. So here is the Gameday Dress- toddler edition!!

I followed the basic tutorial linked above and just made it a little bit bigger on her so that my sister can put a turtleneck under it for those chilly football games. I also put little bows on the straps instead of buttons. Marley loves it and she can play really well in it- so comfy!!

I also made her a little matching bow to go with the dress.

So what do you think- does your little one need a gameday dress for this coming football season! Go out and make one!!

And Then There Were 6!!

Sorry- there will be no new food friday this week- too crazy busy and I have been exhausted!!

But I have big news:

We are now a family of six! This weekend we got the two cutest little kitties from my parents. My husband built them a little box for them to stay in and they are settling in great.

This is Bubbles. She is very courageous and loves to explore. She is very friendly and hardly sits still. You can see that she is a little harder to photograph than the other one.

This is Socks. He is a very chill little cat and really likes being held and petted.

The dogs are getting used to them- Penny is more calm about it but Scout still gets very very excited when they are close to her. Luckily neither of the dogs have been aggressive at all with them.

And here are some shots of the dogs- just so they don't feel left out!
